About Asuncion Christian Academy

Located in Paraguay's Capital of Asuncion, the school is nestled in the largest city in Paraguay with a little less than one third the population. Asuncion is right on the Paraguay River which forms the western boarder with Argentina.

Asuncion Christian Academy believes that the best education to prepare a student for adult life is an education based upon the truth of God’s Word and having a growing and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

ACA is a co-educational Christian day school that is governed by an independent Board of Directors. It is dedicated to the ministry of academic instruction and nurturing.
The elementary school (pre-kinder through 5th grade) emphasizes a sound curriculum stressing the basic subjects of reading, language, mathematics, science, social studies, and Bible. Every student has the opportunity to be instructed in art, music, physical education, and computers.
I will continue to post more about what I will specifically be doing while there, but please feel free to look into the school at

Pottery for Paraguay

This pottery is for sale to support my missionary teaching at Asuncion Christian Academy, in Asuncion, Paraguay. Every penny from the sale will go directly to the fund. This pottery was handmade individually and each piece is unique. They were thrown on the wheel, trimmed, glazed and were each fired twice.

Preparing for Paraguay

Since I received this position back in October, I have been filled with hope, joy, anticipation, fear of the unknown, and so many more emotions. It certainly took a long time to pray over the position and I have only accepted the job with confidence that this is what the Lord's will is for me for the next two years.
The more that I can communicate with people at the school and organize plans for my departure, the more excitement and reassurance that I receive about this upcoming step in my life.

Prayer Requests: Please pray for my preparation, for my future students, and that I will be used in everyway for God's glory.
